The Instructor Development Program is an ongoing course that teaches students how to present lessons from the To-Shin Do curriculum effectively and consistantly. Eligible students at Blue Belt/White Stripe and above are invited to join the Coaching and Training program.
In this class, Instructors, Coaches and Trainers work together to gain new skills, learn from eachother and maintain the focus on excellent individualized instruction for all Quest students.
This class is designed to ensure that future instructors will receive the best possible training, both as martial artists and as compassionate teachers. It covers material not commonly taught in the curriculum, including historical scroll material, additional counters and escapes, and details of standard techniques that may not be explored during regular classes.
It is also a forum for curriculum development, allowing students to be part of the ongoing development and revision of key techniques and learning processes.
